When the RTP network launched in 2017, Volante worked with BNY Mellon to create and deploy technology to enable real-time payments in the US and internationally using VolPay. VolPay worked behind the scenes when the first ever transaction was made on the RTP network on Nov. 13, 2017. Volante’s cloud service, based on VolPay, enables depository institutions to realize the business opportunities of real-time/instant payments without the high upfront infrastructure and software costs and lengthy complex integration projects, traditionally associated with new payment system implementations.
